Hiking – and relaxing – on the Latemar

“Tempo” (English: “pace”) is not the same as “speed” – when you’re hiking in the Dolomites: Latemar.Tempo, that means: finding your own pace, relaxing, and taking time for nature-lovers, pleasure hikers, and families with children. The focus is on the direct and immediate appreciation of nature.

Latemarium Obereggen: Hiking and relaxing

Here you’ll find the best thematic trails in South Tyrol – trails where you can dream and relax. In the Dolomites, when you take the chair lift, you’ll proceed to the Oberholz mountain station as your starting-point. Via Trail No. 23, continue to the Mayrl Alm; then take Trail No. 9 to the Epircher Laner Alm. This is where the actual Hiking Trail begins, which continues via Trails No. 10 and No. 11 to Obereggen. Or, as an alternative, you can take the Latemar.Tempo-Route from Obereggen. You’ll be accompanied by verdant meadows covered with wild flowers and shady forests. Parents take the time to relax on the Latemarium couches and breathe in the pristine alpine air while their children are enchanted by the magical surroundings.
