Torre di Pisa geotrekking
Every Wednesday, from 6th July to 31st August, with departure at 9:30am from the Feudo Pass, which can be reached from Pampeago with the Latemar chair lift followed by a 20-minute hike, or from Predazzo with the Stalimen-Gardoné cable car + Gardoné-Passo Feudo chair lift.
From the Feudo Pass, you can climb along the Latemar duricrust and reach the Rifugio Torre di Pisa, passing along the submerged side of an ancient island which emerged from the Triassic sea 240 million years ago. The path is of medium difficulty, with walkable trails and some short, slightly exposed sections, with a difference in altitude of about 780 meters.
High mountain apparel required: hiking boots, warm clothes in case of cold temperatures, and water-resistant jacket in case of rain. Minimum age 12 years.
