FESTIVAL LATEMAR LIBRIANIMATI

From 8 to 11 july in the magnificent Gardonè amphitheater there is the Festival Latemar Librianimati: 4 days dedicated to rhymes and poems, illustrated stories for children and families!
There will be the stories as well as their authors.

The events are held in the natural amphitheater, not far from the arrival of the cable car Predazzo-Gardonè and they are free.

8 July: Giusi Quarenghi
11.00 a.m. THE GOAT SINGS, AND WE WITH HER
Poetry readings and poetry practice. There will be the fury, the wind, the quarrels, Cloe, the breaths, the earth, the storm. A single incipit: ‘root | if it holds, root | if it leaves, root | if it holds and if it leaves’. One and then nothing, so as not to leave any out.
2.30 p.m. POETRY IN THE GRASS, BEGINNER POETS
The poet Boris Pasternak said that poetic verses are in the shade of blades of grass. And that is where we will try to find them. And above us the sky. And it will be great: ‘it stands above the houses and advances | over the mountains and advances | as far as the sea | and still further’.

9 July: Bruno Tognolini
11.00 a.m. THE HIDDEN DRUM
Who is that Ramingo Poet Gnome who has a thousand rhymes in his hat? He comes to show us a curious thing: poems have a beating drum heart. They look like rap, counsels, spiels, slogans in stadiums, prayers and prayers. They are serious word games: they have a beating heart with two wings to fly.
2.30 p.m. THE POETIC WHISPERING OF THE WORLD
A murmur has been whispering for millennia. It is made up of all the human voices, both big and small, that have always rhymed great poems and little countenances, play poems and rhymes, prayers and proverbs, curses and ill omens, rap and trap and spots. Bringing that murmur to the surface with a squeaky voice will be like hearing their voices, all at once.

11.00 a.m. POETRY REUSE WORKSHOP
If you have never made a ‘poetry poster’, now is the time. We are going to walk around and observe the landscape. Opening our eyes wide, of course, to then return to our starting point and make an illustrated poem. It will be made of recovered verses, then assembled and sewn together with other precious little things. Here we go!
2.30 p.m. REMAKING THE WORLD, LET’S GO
This is where we will make our voice heard. Fishing for good words, strong words, green words, wise words as we fish for flowers. And what could we possibly need to fish for new words? One thing, of all things, will come in handy in this adventure: the silence of the forests. Can you tell what it sounds like?

11 July: Pino Pace
11.00 a.m. BEASTS OF ALL SHAPES
What we know about beasts comes from the travel diaries of Sam Colam and Professor Pico Pane. Of them all, the Camellula is by far the one with the best breath. Don’t believe us? Then try approaching a Camellula and then say it in haiku form! Tell the effect it has in just three lines and seventeen syllables, if you dare.
2.30 p.m. TRAVEL NOTES
Where do you come from? Where were you before? What was that place like? Was there a house, a swing, a road, a tiger, two feet? You go on, tell me about that place where you were. What did the house look like, whether it had only one floor or three, four, five. Did it have many windows? And what did you see? Far and near, I want to know. In haiku form, come on.
